PAK vs SA 1st T20 Live Updates, Playing XI, & Pitch Report

The PAK vs SA 1st T20 is slated to take place today i.e, 10th December at the Kingsmead Stadium in Durban. This match will kickstart the all-format series between Pakistan and South Africa.

South Africa will be looking to carry forward the momentum of their test success against Sri Lanka, while Pakistan will be aiming to get back in the game by winning against a competitive team like South Africa.

Today’s Pakistan vs South Africa match will be the first game of a three-match T20I series. Following a dominant Test series victory over Sri Lanka, South Africa will aim to start the T20I series on a winning note.

Will the Proteas be able to take advantage of their home conditions or will they bear the brunt of not having important players in the squad?

SA vs PAK Kingsmead pitch conditions

Kingsmead has a batsmen-friendly surface which truly favors pace and bounce, making it ideal for stroke-hitters.

Historically, the venue has hosted high-scoring T20 matches, and this game is expected to have the same fate.

While fast-bowlers may find some help with back-of-a-length deliveries, spinners could also spice things up in the middle overs.

Both teams are likely to choose bowling if they win the toss, given the pitch's reputation for favoring second innings.
