ICC Champions Trophy 2025 schedule

The ICC announced the official schedule of the upcoming edition of Champions Trophy once the venue debacle was sorted. 

The second-biggest ICC ODI tournament i.e, the Champions Trophy 2025 will kickstart on February 19th with the Pakistan vs New Zealand match. 

This edition will be contested by top 8 cricket teams of the world over a span of 15 ODI matches.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 groups

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be contested by top 8 cricket teams from all around the world. 

These teams have been divided into two groups of 4. Each team will play one match against their team members during the group stage and the top two teams from both groups will qualify for the Champions Trophy semi-finals.

Champions Trophy 2025 opening ceremony date & time

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 opening ceremony is set to take place on February 7th at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. 

In order to attract audiences, the PCB has announced free entry for all spectators wishing to attend tomorrow’s ceremony.

A series of remarkable events will mark the beginning of this mega tournament!

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 venue

Pakistan was set to be the sole host of Champions Trophy 2025, but the BCCI’s reluctance in sending their team to Pakistan resulted in Dubai becoming co-host alongside Pakistan. 

All of India’s matches will now take place in Dubai whereas the rest of the games will be played in Pakistan. 

The 1st semi final is also scheduled to take place in Dubai and if India qualifies for the final, then the Champions Trophy 2025 final match will also take place in Dubai.
