Shahid Afridi Blames PCB For Pakistan Cricket Team’s Bad Performance

Shahid Afridi Blames PCB For Pakistan Cricket Team’s Bad Performance

Former Pakistan captain and star player Shahid Afridi has blamed Pakistan Cricket Board for the team’s recent bad performance.

In an interview with a local news channel, all-rounder Shahid Afridi said that continuous changes in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are impacting the team negatively.

Boom Boom Afridi added that every system should at least be given a three year long tenure to adjust, but in the case of PCB, every year there’s a new chairman elected that makes changes as per his own liking. According to him, no cricket board in the entire world works like this.

Former captain added that all the senior members of the PCB and senior players of the team should sit together to make a proper strategy.

He added that how can the PCB or anyone expect the team to perform when there are so many changes taking place at the management level.

The Pakistan Cricket Team exited the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup after losing two out of their four group stage matches.

Debutant team USA beat Pakistan in the Super Over which came as a shock to the entire country.

Shahid Afridi left no stone unturned in criticizing the team as well as the PCB.

Hopefully, the criticism will be taken positively and the team will perform better in the upcoming Bangladesh tour of Pakistan.

The PAK vs BAN 2024 series will feature two test matches. The Men in Green will be led by Shan Masood, whereas Babar Azam continues to lead the team in white-ball format.
